Autostat reported low stocks of Xcite cars at dealers
The Xcite cars of the Russian brand, which were produced at the former Nissan plant in St. Petersburg, are almost out of dealers. Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, told about this in his Telegram channel on February 6.
According to his calculations, there are about 1 thousand unsold cars left in stock. Xcite X-Cross 7 crossovers are almost over, the X-Cross 8 can still be found at dealers. There are also test cars available that go on sale as used cars.
According to the expert, as of the end of January 2026, 18.6 thousand Xcite cars were registered. Of these, there are almost 15.1 thousand pieces of X-cross 7 and 36.6 thousand pieces of X-cross 8.
January sales of Xcite amounted to only 354 units, which is a quarter (-26%) less than in January last year (408 units) and two times less than in December last year (701 units). In total, slightly less than 19.7 thousand Xcite cars were produced in St. Petersburg (slightly more than 15.2 thousand X-Cross 7 and slightly less than 4.5 thousand X-Cross 8).
The Xcite brand was created in 2024 by AvtoVAZ's partner, Avtozavod Saint Petersburg. The production of cars was launched in the late spring of that year at the former Nissan plant, the Xcite model range includes two crossovers based on Chery models. They are sold and serviced in Russia through the Lada dealer network. In September 2025, the company's CEO, Ivan Mironov, announced that Xcite cars were no longer being assembled.
The day before, GAC shared new details and showed images of a large S7 crossover for the Russian market. The model will go on sale in Russia on March 2. It is known that it will receive a hybrid power plant with two electric motors and an all-wheel drive system.
