- Another emergency house on Pavlova Street in Murmansk will be resettled by the end of February.
Residents of the emergency house No. 34 on Akademika Pavlova Street will be resettled in Murmansk by the end of February. This is reported by the Bi-port news agency with reference to the relevant resolution of the city administration.
According to the document, residents are offered to stop using the premises until February 27. In return, they will be provided with apartments in the maneuver fund. After that, water, light, gas and heating will be turned off in the emergency building.
The news agency clarifies that the two-story wooden house at 34 Akademika Pavlova Street was built in 1958. In 2018, it was declared an emergency and subject to demolition. In 2026, the city administration decided to relocate the residents to a maneuverable fund. The decision is related, among other things, to the deterioration of the building's technical condition.
In early January, the residents of house No. 32 on Akademika Pavlova Street also received the keys to the apartments in the maneuverable fund. The building, built in 1957, was also declared an emergency, but the decision on urgent resettlement was made after the fire that occurred on January 1. There are eight apartments in the house, but in fact three people lived in it.
