GAC has announced the release date of the S7 crossover

GAC shared new details and showed images of a large S7 crossover for the Russian market. The model will go on sale in Russia on March 2. This was reported to Izvestia by the company's press service on February 5.

It is known that the model will receive a hybrid power plant with two electric motors and an all-wheel drive system. The GAC S7's equipment list includes 20-inch wheels, a large panoramic roof, a parking garage, a 27-inch projection display, an all-round viewing system, as well as a large central display and a compact dashboard screen, seats with ventilation and massage, an audio system with 21 speakers and other options.

In China, the model is available in 392 and 501 hp versions. Acceleration time to "hundreds", depending on the version, is 5.8 or 7.9 seconds. The 36.3 kWh battery allows you to travel up to 1,150 km without recharging and refueling according to the Chinese CLTC cycle.

The crossover is 4900 mm long, 1950 mm wide, and 1780 mm high. The wheelbase is 2880 mm. The third row of seats is not provided. In China, the price of the GAC S7 varies from 159.8 thousand to 229.8 thousand yen (1.8 — 2.5 million rubles in translation).

On January 6, GAC announced that it plans to introduce four models in Russia, including hybrid crossovers and an electric sports car. Currently, the GAC model range in Russia includes GS3, GS4 and GS8 crossovers, the Empower sedan and the M8 minivan.
