So, if the lama sets a wedding date, the waiting period for registration may be less than 1 month.

Koryagina said that every year more and more young people register marriages in national clothes. If such a couple comes to the registry office, an employee of the registry office also puts on a beautiful national Buryat outfit and registers the marriage in this office.

Earlier it was reported that newlyweds from the Leningrad region will be able to receive a gift card for a tour of the region. The certificate began to be issued on February 1, 2026. To receive a gift, you must meet a number of conditions. The marriage must be the first for both and registered after August 1, 2025 at the Registry office of the Leningrad region. In addition, the age of the spouses should not exceed 35 years.
