The dismantling of New Year's trees will begin in Krasnoyarsk on February 16.

In Krasnoyarsk, New Year decorations will begin to be removed from February 15, and Christmas trees in parks and squares will be dismantled from February 16. The main festive tree on Tatyshev Island will be removed after February 20.

According to the press service of the city administration, the dismantling process will take about two weeks.

First, experts will remove decorations at road junctions, then small lighting elements like balloons, garlands and snowmen.

Large figures — glowing trees, a book, candles, crystals and a deer — will be taken away later on large vehicles.

According to KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the elements of the New Year's decor will be checked and repaired if necessary.
