The Russian Ambassador announced Denmark's readiness to deploy the military-industrial complex of Ukraine on the territory of the enterprise.

Denmark is considering the possibility of hosting the production facilities of four or five companies of the military-industrial complex (MIC) of Ukraine on its territory. This was stated on February 4 by Russian Ambassador to Copenhagen Vladimir Barbin in an interview with RIA Novosti

"Copenhagen intends to invite four or five high-tech enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine to establish production on Danish territory. Denmark has allocated about €70 million for the implementation of this task," Barbin said.

The head of the Russian diplomatic mission added that the Danish side shows considerable interest in cooperation in the field of unmanned systems of various types. Joint production projects with Ukraine are currently being discussed, including with a view to organizing the supply of products to the European arms market.

In July 2025, it was reported that Denmark was ready to deploy up to five enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine in the city of Odense on the island of Funen, where a center for the production of drones was established in March of the same year. At that time, the Danish Defense Minister noted that the deployment of Ukrainian defense enterprises in the country is beneficial for Denmark itself, since the drones they produce will also be put into service for the Danish army.
