Air defense forces shot down 16 Ukrainian UAVs in six hours

The Russian air Defense Forces shot down 16 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in six hours. This was announced on February 3 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"In the period from 14.00 Moscow time to 20.00 Moscow time, 16 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the report says.

It is specified that 11 UAVs were destroyed by the air defense forces over the territory of the Belgorod region. Three drones were shot down over the Bryansk region, one over the Kursk region and another over the Orel region.

On the same day, the air defense forces destroyed 21 UAVs in four hours. 20 UAVs were intercepted over the territory of the Belgorod region, another one over Bryansk.
