19 universities invited participants of "Moscow Longevity" to classes
More than 170,000 participants of the Moscow Longevity project have chosen educational programs in 2025. This was announced on Tuesday, February 3, by Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development.
She noted that continuing education for the older generation is becoming a steady trend, and it has been supported in the capital for many years. According to her, 19 leading Russian universities are cooperating with older Muscovites within the framework of the project, which employs about 300 free study groups, the Moscow City News Agency reports. The most sought-after areas were graphic design, website creation and web design, as well as a course on healthy eating. In the new academic year, Rakova stressed, participants will also be offered new programs on working with neural networks, art therapy, online promotion and sales.
Partner universities offer a wide range of courses, from humanities and art to legal literacy, foreign languages, and creative workshops. Also, the Silver University and professional retraining programs continue to work within the framework of the project, as a result of which a certificate is issued, Moscow 24 notes.
