Suspects found in Moscow in the murder of a pregnant woman in Germany

Natalia Dontsova and her son Alexander, suspected of the brutal murder of Kazakh citizen Aigul Sailybayeva in Germany, live and work in Moscow. Footage of one of the suspects was published by Izvestia on February 3.

Aigul Sailybayeva, a former judge from Kazakhstan, was brutally murdered in Germany in 2024. Her body with more than 30 stab wounds and traces of chemical burns on her face was found in a lake in the city of Beinsheim. German investigators opened a criminal case, the main suspect was her mother-in-law Natalia Dontsova, who left the country and was put on the wanted list through Interpol.

The husband of the deceased, Alexander Dontsov, shortly after the murder, obtained the citizenship of their young daughter and took the child to Russia. The relatives of the deceased appealed to the Russian law enforcement agencies with a request to help bring the perpetrators to justice.

Dontsov denies involvement in the crime, saying that he was slandered by journalists, he also refused to comment. On February 2, Natalia Dontsova and her son were taken to the Investigative Committee for questioning, where the woman used her right not to incriminate herself.

Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, instructed Dmitry Belyaev, head of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee for Moscow, to submit a report on the progress of the procedural check on this fact.

"The execution of the order has been put under control at the central office of the department," the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation reported on its Telegram channel.

In the Moscow region on January 27, a man killed a roommate with a knife and wounded a neighbor with it. A criminal case was opened against the attacker under Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 105, paragraph "d" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder", "Murder").
