The meeting of the negotiating groups of Russia, the United States and Ukraine in Abu Dhabi on January 23-24 was preceded by Russian-Ukrainian contacts between representatives of the military departments. This was announced on February 2 by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"On January 23-24, Russia-USA-Ukraine trilateral talks were held in Abu Dhabi, which were preceded by Russian-Ukrainian military contacts," the ministry said in a statement on its website.
