The number of victims of carbon monoxide poisoning in a private kindergarten in the Karabudakhkentsky district of the Republic of Dagestan has reached ten. This was announced on February 2 by a source of Izvestia.

The incident occurred earlier in the day. As a result of the incident, five pupils of the institution were poisoned. They were admitted to the district hospital in a moderate condition.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

On January 31, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Saratov Region reported that a woman and three children had been poisoned by carbon monoxide in the city of Balashov. A procedural check has been organized on the fact of the incident. According to the agency, a 35-year—old woman and her three children, two girls aged two and 10, were hospitalized in a medical facility.
