In the Karabudakhkentsky district of the Republic of Dagestan, five pupils of a private kindergarten were poisoned by carbon monoxide. This was announced on February 2 by a source of Izvestia.

According to the source, the incident occurred in the village of Paraul.

"The victims were hospitalized in a moderate condition in the Central Hospital in the village of Karabudakhkent," the source told Izvestia.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

On January 31, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Saratov Region reported that a woman and three children had been poisoned by carbon monoxide in the city of Balashov. A procedural check has been organized on the fact of the incident. According to the agency, a 35-year—old woman and her three children, two girls aged two and 10, were hospitalized in a medical facility.
