A pedophile who raped an underage girl was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

The Blagoveshchensk court sentenced to 15 years a pedophile who raped the underage daughter of his cohabitant. This was reported on February 2 in the press service of the Blagoveshchensk City Court.

"The Blagoveshchensk City Court considered at a closed court session the criminal case of a resident of the village of Chigiri, who was convicted of rape, in addition, other sexual acts involving violence against a minor under the age of 14," the Telegram channel said.

It is specified that the man committed a sexual act against the girl in the spring of 2025. The court sentenced him to 15 years in a high-security penal colony and an additional two years of restriction of liberty after his release.

On November 15, the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC) identified a man involved in 25 rapes of women and underage girls committed in Moscow in the 2000s. The charges also included 11 robberies, which injured 16 people. The accused pleaded guilty, and the criminal case was sent to court.
