It became known about the liberation of the Russian Armed Forces of 24 settlements in the SVO zone in January.

Since the beginning of 2026, Russian military personnel have liberated 24 settlements in the special military operation zone. This was confirmed on February 1 by TASS calculations based on reports from the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It is specified that the largest number of settlements, namely 10, were liberated in the Zaporizhia region. These are, in particular, Ternovatoe, Novoyakovlevka, Rechnoye, Priluki, Pavlovka, Zhovtnevoe, Belogorye, Novoboikovskoye, Zelenoe and Petrovka. Operations in these areas were carried out by fighters of the Vostok and Dnepr groups of troops.
