According to the results of the Russian Doubles Championship on January 31, Kamila Valieva and Mark Kondratyuk failed to break into the number of winners, taking sixth place. The competition started in Moscow on January 31.

According to the results of the three rounds, the pair scored a total of 77.22 points. In the first round, Kamila performed a quadruple toe loop with a blemish, landed a cascade of triple lutz and triple salchow, but performed a solo lutz in only two turns. Mark Kondratyuk demonstrated a sequence of two triple axels, a solo triple axel and a quadruple salchow in a step‑out. In the second round, both athletes tried to perform a quadruple toe loop in sync, but Mark's jump ended in a fall. In the third round, the pair presented cascades of several jumps, but made mistakes that affected the final score.

Alisa Dvoeglazova and Andrey Mozalev became the Russian doubles champions, scoring 131.49 points: their program was characterized by high complexity and synchronicity of elements, including quadruple jumps. The silver medalists were Sofia Muravyeva and Evgeny Semenenko (116.23 points), Maria Zakharova and Vladislav Dikidzhi (97.84 points) took the third place. Anna Frolova and Matvey Vetlugin were fourth (95.72 points), and Alexandra Trusova and Makar Ignatov were fifth (85.46 points).

For Valieva, this tournament was the first after the end of her doping suspension, despite the difficulties, she demonstrated her willingness to fight for high results by including a quadruple sheepskin coat in the program. Mark Kondratyuk, who also competed in men's singles, took 11th place out of 12 participants and completed the fight for awards.

On January 19, the press service of the Russian Figure Skating Federation announced that figure skater Alexandra Ignatova (before her marriage, Trusova) would take part in the Russian Jumping Championship. Alexandra Ignatova, 21, is a silver medalist at the 2022 Olympic Games, a bronze medalist at the 2021 World Championships, and a medalist at the European Championships.
