Singer Yelka (real name — Elizaveta Ivantsiv) received Russian citizenship in 2024. This was reported on January 31 by RIA Novosti.

At the time of registration of citizenship, the artist bore the surname Astakhova and notified the relevant authorities about obtaining a Russian passport in accordance with the established procedure. Elizaveta Ivantsiv is a native of the Transcarpathian region.

The singer was previously married to Sergey Astakhov, after which the marriage was dissolved.
