Five vaccinations have been named that can prolong the life of elderly people who, due to their age, are particularly at risk of infection: among them are flu, papilloma virus and chickenpox vaccinations. This was announced on January 31 by Alexander Rumyantsev, Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, President of the Dmitry Rogachev Moscow State Medical University, Scientific Director of the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University.
"This is the flu, vaccination should be annual, because the older generation is dying from the flu. This is pneumococcus. This is hemophilus influenza or hemophilic bacillus. It's chickenpox, the chickenpox vaccine. And the fifth is a vaccine against the papilloma virus," Rumyantsev said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
