An eruption of a mud volcano occurred on the territory of the Hajigabuli region in eastern Azerbaijan, 110 km from Baku. This was announced on January 30 by the Republican Center for Seismological Service (RCSS) at the National Academy of Sciences of the country.

According to him, the eruption was recorded by the near-volcanic seismic stations of the RCSS at 16:53 local time (15:53 Moscow time).
