Djokovic will play Alcaraz in the Australian Open final

Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic won the semi–finals of the Australian Open (Australian Open - 2026) on January 30, beating Italian and winner of the last two draws of the tournament Yannick Sinner. In the final of the tournament, the Serb's opponent will be Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.

The match ended with a score 3:6, 6:3, 4:6, 6:4, 6:4. It is specified that the Serbian tennis player was seeded at the tournament at number four, and Sinner, in turn, at number two. The Australian Open final, which will be held on February 1, will be Djokovic's 11th. The athlete has 38 finals in Grand Slam tournaments, of which he won 24, setting a record for the number of victories in men's singles.

Currently, Djokovic is ranked 4th in the world and has won numerous titles, including Olympic gold in 2024, bronze at the 2008 Olympics and the Davis Cup in 2010.
