Fradkov proposed creating new incentives to reduce the cost of state defense order products

Now it is important to create additional incentives to reduce the cost of state defense order (GOZ) products and simplify the procedures for price coordination and contracting, said Peter Fradkov, Chairman of the PSB and Deputy Chairman of the Russian Engineering Union.

"In 2026, we will continue to work on the harmonization of the pricing and contracting system in the State Defense Order. Now it is important to come to clear and universal solutions and maintain a balance of interests of the state customer, the head contractor and enterprises," Fradkov said at a meeting of the Soyuzmash bureau and the League for Assistance to Defense Enterprises.

The Chairman of the PSB also noted that in 2026, the expert council on the development of financial instruments and non-financial measures to support defense industry enterprises of the State Duma Committee on Industry and Trade will pay attention to the topic of military-technical cooperation and international cooperation in the field of high technologies. Fradkov also drew attention to the need for Russian companies to adapt to the constantly changing macroeconomic environment.

At the meeting, the head of the PSB was awarded the M. T. Kalashnikov Medal of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade for his contribution to the country's defense capability and strengthening its technological sovereignty, as well as the medal of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency for his contribution to the development of the donor movement.
