A Crimean resident was sentenced to 15 years in a penal colony for collecting data on the location of military airfields and air defense systems for the military intelligence of Ukraine. This was reported on January 30 in the press service of the Crimean directorate of the FSB of the Russian Federation.
"The Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea found the defendant guilty of the charges and sentenced her to 15 years in prison to serve her sentence in a general regime colony with a fine of 100,000 rubles," RIA Novosti news agency quoted the text of the message.
The ministry added that after the main punishment, the Crimean woman was also given a restriction of freedom for a period of one and a half years.
According to the FSB, the attacker independently offered her services in collecting information for the special services of Ukraine by joining one of the Ukrainian channels of the Telegram messenger. On the instructions of the curator, the woman traveled to the places indicated by him and photographed the objects located there.
"The information was intended to be used by the enemy when launching missile strikes," the ministry said.
On the same day, law enforcement officers detained an agent of the special services of Ukraine, who planned to kill a serviceman in St. Petersburg. It was noted that as a result of the arrest, a loaded Makarov pistol with a silencer was seized from the suspect.
