Squares on Amurskaya and Shestiperova streets to be improved in Chita

Two squares will be put in order in Chita in 2026. The spaces for landscaping were chosen during the All-Russian online voting, the press service of the government of Transbaikalia reported on Thursday, January 29.

We are talking about public areas at 48 Amurskaya Street and 66 Shestiperova Street. They scored 6,000 and 4,351 votes, respectively.

A small park for quiet relaxation will be set up at the intersection of Amurskaya and Nikolay Ostrovsky Streets. A recreation area will be created in the Ingodinsky district, sports and playgrounds will be placed, and photo zones for the newlyweds will be installed.

The work will be carried out within the framework of the federal project "Creating a comfortable urban environment" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life," writes ChitaMedia news agency.

Earlier it was reported that the technological plate of the Charoit ice arena at the KSK will be repaired in Chita. The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of July 2026.
