The media reported the death of 15 people in a plane crash in Colombia.

A plane crash in northeastern Colombia killed 15 people. This was reported on January 28 by CNN with reference to the press service of the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority (Civil Aeronautics).

According to the source, the plane of the state-owned Satena company, flying from Cucuta to the municipality of Okanya, took off at 11:42 local time (19:42 Moscow time) and contacted the dispatcher for the last time at 11:54 (19:54 Moscow time), after which it disappeared. Later, according to Satena, the search for the aircraft began.

"On Wednesday, a plane with 15 passengers on board crashed in northeastern Colombia <...>. There are no survivors among the 13 passengers and two crew members," the publication says.

It is specified that Colombian Congressman Diogenes Quintero was on board.

NDTV reported on January 28 that five people were killed in a small plane crash in India, including Ajit Pawar, 66-year-old Deputy Minister of Maharashtra and head of the NCP party. According to local authorities, four more people were killed in the crash, including the pilots and security personnel of Pavar.
