The Impulse Sports Festival of Unlimited Possibilities will be held in Sochi

From March 26 to March 29, Sochi will host the III International Adaptive Sports Festival "Impulse" as part of the implementation of the "National Projects of Russia" and the Federal project "Sport of Russia". The festival will be held with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Duma, the Ministry of Sports and the Civic Chamber.

Impulse is the largest international project that was created three years ago, when Russian athletes were banned from participating in international competitions. This is a true celebration of fortitude, indomitable will and unlimited human possibilities.

"Our team has been organizing charity inclusive events on adaptive sports in Russia and abroad for a long time. We conduct free training sessions in Chelyabinsk for people with disabilities, instill a love for a healthy body and spirit. Now it is important to create your own events (including sports and wellness ones), help each other and invite guests from all over the world who support the principle of fair competition, where people with disabilities but unlimited inner strength will show beautiful sports. We sincerely believe and strive to make Russia a center of attraction for athletes from all over the world, uniting countries into one big, friendly sports family," said Alexander Smirnov, President of the International Inclusive Committee.

This year, Impulse will bring together more than 3,000 participants from more than 20 countries under its flag. More than 30 types of adaptive sports and more than 50 disciplines will be presented at the festival. Participants will be able to prove themselves in exciting water, ice and even air disciplines.

The Impulse Festival is a large-scale social project for different categories of people. People with disabilities, soldiers of a special military operation who have been injured, and children from boarding schools, social institutions, orphanages, and foster families participate. The festival focuses on mass amateur adaptive sports in order to give everyone the opportunity to participate, regardless of their sports status. The festive programs of the festival will be attended by representatives of ministries and departments of the Russian Federation, members of the leadership of the guest countries and specially invited VIP guests from Russia and around the world.
