Matvienko demanded to monitor the situation with the Russian Post
The situation with the Russian Post, especially with problems in rural offices, cannot be let go. This was announced on January 28 by Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko at a plenary session.
At the meeting, Ivan Abramov, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy, spoke about the systemic problems in the company's work.
"The subject of the mail, it's been around for the last 2-3 years. And we raised it in the government, and the Prime minister gave instructions. There is no contractor who could professionally develop a financial and economic model for the work of the post office," RIA Novosti quoted Matvienko as saying.
