Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov did not answer a question about the possible extradition of former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to his homeland during a briefing on January 28.

"We do not comment on the topic of Assad in any way," he said, answering a question about the Kremlin's position in this regard.
