Mercedes-Benz car imports to Russia increased by 47%

In 2025, 36.6 thousand Mercedes-Benz passenger cars were imported to Russia, which is 47% more than a year earlier. Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, told about this in his Telegram channel.

In the new car segment, Mercedes-Benz imports increased by 30% to 10.2 thousand units. The import of used cars increased by 55% to 26.4 thousand units. According to the expert, almost all new Mercedes-Benz cars (98.9%) have a capacity of over 160 hp. The share of such cars with mileage is also high, 79.5%.

Only 5.3% of new cars and 4.5% of used cars delivered to Russia were assembled in China. More than 85% of all imported Mercedes-Benz are made in Germany. Most often, new Mercedes-Benz cars were imported into Russia through Belarus last year, while used ones were imported from South Korea.

Among the new Mercedes-Benz vehicles, G-class SUVs, GLS, GLC, GLE crossovers, as well as the E-class business sedan were most often imported last year. In the used segment, the leaders are the C-class, E-class, GLE, S-class and GLC.

The day before, it was reported that 64 thousand BMW cars were imported to Russia in 2025, which is 44% more than a year earlier. New car imports increased by a third (+34%), while used car imports doubled (+49%).
