In honor of Student's Day, a series of events was held in Moscow under the auspices of the Territory of Opportunities

In honor of the Day of Russian Students, a series of events was held in the capital under the auspices of the Territory of Opportunities. The program included a meeting with a participant in a special military operation, intellectual games and a festival at an ice rink, said Marina Prozorova, deputy head of the Department of Territorial Executive Authorities of Moscow.

"The program brought together young people, community activists, volunteers and government officials. The focus was on the personal stories of our country's heroes, modern educational practices, and career opportunities for students," she said.

A meeting was held at the Youth Parliamentarism Center with Alexander Filippov, deputy commander of the 1430th Motorized Rifle Regiment, Guard lieutenant colonel, knight of the Order of Courage. "Our 1430 regiment was formed in the fall of 2022, including those who were once students and received higher education in various fields. And the skills they acquired in universities to learn quickly and adapt to new conditions helped them successfully master the difficult rules of the military profession. Today, our heroes continue to defend the Zaporizhia region," Filippov shared.

The participants of the event also completed a team quest with intellectual and creative tasks.

A meeting of journalists of the Special Correspondent project with Andrey Omelchuk, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, took place at the situation center of the Moscow Government. Special attention was paid at the event to the creation of a network of modern university campuses.

A festival was organized at the Tagansky Park skating rink for activists of the Moscow Government Scholarship program and other students of Moscow universities. A quiz was prepared for them on the history and traditions of Student's Day, sports relay races and agility and speed competitions.
