The Ministry of Health has reduced the duration of flu treatment by almost half

The total duration of flu treatment in Russia, according to the decision of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, has been reduced to nine days, whereas previously it ranged from 15 to 20 days, depending on the severity of the disease. Such data was published on January 27 in an order of the department on the official Internet portal of legal information.

According to the new standards, these nine days will be allocated for the diagnosis and treatment of influenza. Changes in the timing apply to both outpatient and inpatient treatment.
