The accusations of Russia's involvement in all hacker attacks on European infrastructure are an exaggeration. This was announced on January 26 by German Foreign Minister Johann Vadefuhl.

"Just last week, we received information from the Federal Bank of Germany that they are experiencing 5,000 hacker attacks per minute, and that more than 2 billion attacks on IT systems occur in Germany every year. This is an almost unimaginable figure," the German Foreign minister said at a joint press conference with the Latvian Foreign Minister.

In addition, he stressed that Germany cannot link these attacks with Russia.

The newspaper Le Figaro reported on December 17 that hackers who stole the data of more than 16.4 million people as a result of a large-scale cyberattack are blackmailing the French Interior Ministry.

According to the newspaper, a user with the nickname Indra wrote that hackers had gained access to many documents of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including lists of wanted persons, information about criminal records with data of criminals, victims and witnesses.
