53 military graves and memorial sites were restored and repaired in the Tula region in 2025. The cost of the work exceeded 92.5 million rubles, Minister of Regional Security Anatoly Maksikov said at an operational meeting on Monday, January 26.

As the TSN24 correspondent reports, of the 861 objects of memory of the Great Patriotic War located in the region, another 29 require repair. All of them must be put in order before May 1.

According to Governor Dmitry Milyaev, the restoration of monuments is a matter of conscience.

Earlier it was reported that the Tula region will receive more than 294 million rubles in 2026 for the construction of sports facilities. The money will come from the federal budget.
