Sobyanin spoke about the wide opportunities for students

Moscow offers great opportunities for students, said Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, who met with students from the capital's colleges.

In December, the Meeting of Friends restaurant opened in the Palace of Pioneers on Vorobyovy Gory as part of the Winter in Moscow project, where students can work as waiters, cooks, pastry chefs, hostesses and baristas. According to the mayor, the site is popular — it was visited by over 11.5 thousand people.

"Today, the guys asked to leave this restaurant permanently. That's what we'll do. Moreover, he proposed to replicate this practice in other districts of Moscow," the mayor wrote in the MACH messenger.

Sobyanin added that students are also attracted to social projects. Last year, students of the Moscow Technological College named after I.A. Likhachev created New Year's installations for children's clinics. There are plans to involve students from eight colleges in the manufacture of products for the urban economy complex — benches, protective hemispheres, banners.
