Ice crossing opened on the Krasnoyarsk Sea
An ice crossing on the route Shumikha-Khmelniki-Berendey has opened on the Krasnoyarsk Sea. Vehicles up to 2.6 m wide and weighing up to 4 tons are allowed to move along the winter road, the press service of the Divnogorsk City Hall reports.
Driving on the winter road is carried out in two lanes, with a maximum speed of 30 km/h. The descent to the ice is one-way, with a speed of no more than 10 km/h.
The distance between the two cars should be at least 20 m, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency. At the same time, all seat belts must be unfastened and the cabin doors ajar.
U-turns, stops, drifts, overtaking cars and refueling, leaving the winter camp, moving at night, fog and blizzard are prohibited. It is also forbidden to tie anything to a car for people to ride.
The opening of the crossing depends on the actual state of the ice and the weather. It is necessary to use only equipped winter shelters and comply with all the requirements of information signs. Administrative liability may be imposed for entering a body of water in an unauthorized place.
