Transbaikalia will switch to polyclinics without registries by 2030

By 2030, all medical institutions in Transbaikalia will switch to work without registration. This information was provided by Roman Dudenko, Deputy Minister of Regional Health, during the round table.

The project "Polyclinic without registry" was launched in Chita in 2025 in a number of medical organizations. In the current 2026, the program will cover several districts of the region.

"Having received feedback through a questionnaire, we saw that the satisfaction of the population has increased — it has become more convenient and comfortable for them. Although there was a misunderstanding at the first stages," Dudenko said, quoted by the ChitaMedia news agency.

According to Oksana Nemakina, the head of the regional Ministry of Health, at first any innovation is perceived negatively, and the transition period is difficult.

The ministry was worried that the older generation would not be able to immediately master the renovated "polyclinic", but they liked it more than the young citizens.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote that work continues in Russia to modernize primary health care. The implementation of regional programs has been extended until 2030. Special attention will be paid to rural areas and stronghold settlements.
