Financial Lawyer Razmorozka.com Olga Plekhanova, a qualified investor, and Viktor Makeev, a senior financial analyst at the Trading Room, gave Russians advice on how to distinguish promising projects in the field of the cryptocurrency market from "bubbles" on Thursday, January 22.

According to Plekhanova, "bubbles" in the field of cryptocurrency are not a deviation, but a structural feature of the market. Therefore, crypto investments are appropriate only as a limited part of the portfolio, a tool for diversification, capital, the loss of which is not critical for the investor, she noted.

"It's not so much technology that helps distinguish a promising project from a fraudulent one, but rather infrastructure: the use of large and regulated exchanges, the clarity of the issuer, and the lack of promises of guaranteed returns. Any offers of "stable profits" outside of market logic are a serious reason for caution," the lawyer said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .

According to Makeev, project filtering remains a key task for the investor. He added that the lack of a product, a vague roadmap, and aggressive marketing without a fundamental basis are characteristic signs of speculative bubbles and potential fraudulent schemes.
