The head of Tesla, Elon Musk, on January 22, during a speech at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, said that by the end of 2027 the company could start selling humanoid robots Optimus to the general public.

"I believe that by the end of next year we will be selling humanoid robots to the public," Musk said.

He said that the Tesla factory already has several robots that perform simple tasks. The head of the company suggested that by the end of 2026 they will be performing more complex tasks.

Musk announced on January 2 that his company Neuralink will begin mass production of brain implants for controlling thought devices in 2026. According to him, this year the corporation plans to switch to an optimized, "fully automated surgical procedure."
