Pensions of 215 thousand people were indexed in the Murmansk region

Since the beginning of January 2026, pensions of almost 215 thousand Northerners have been indexed in the Murmansk Region. This was announced on Wednesday, January 21, according to the press service of the regional Federation Council.

Payments increased by 7.6%. According to the Bi-port news agency, old-age benefits have also increased for those who continue to work.

Other compounded benefits also increased by 7.6%. Thus, the individual pension coefficient (IPC) has "risen in price" from 145 rubles 69 kopecks to 156 rubles 76 kopecks. The fixed payment to the insurance pension increased from 13 thousand 361 rubles to 14 thousand 377 rubles.

The SFR recalled that despite the same percentage of indexation, the amount of the increase for each pensioner is individual and depends on the amount of payment received before the indexation.

Earlier it was reported that state disability pensions and social pensions will be indexed from April 1, taking into account the increase in the subsistence level of pensioners.
