In Russia, they named the most expensive gifts for the New Year
In Russia, the most expensive New Year's gifts were named on January 20, according to Kontur-market analysts.
The most expensive gift was purchased in Moscow — it was a massage chair for 420 thousand rubles. A huge number of coffee packages worth a total of 390 thousand rubles were purchased in the Rostov region.
A resident of the Novosibirsk region bought an anti-stress cocoa latte with reishi to support the nervous system. The purchase cost him 350 thousand rubles.
Among the items of clothing, the most expensive gift was a women's fur coat worth 211 thousand rubles.
Earlier, on January 12, ORMATEK experts conducted a study and found out how much Russians spent on the holiday weekend, how they distributed the budget during the New Year holidays and how they prepared financially for the holidays. Almost half of the survey participants (43%) met the budget from 5,000 to 15,000 rubles. Another 30% of respondents spent 15-40 thousand rubles on the holiday weekend, while 21% noted spending in the range of 40-80 thousand rubles. Only 4% spent 80-100 thousand rubles and 2% — 100-150 thousand rubles. Spending over 150,000 rubles was not indicated by any of the respondents.
