A cloud of plasma from a Class X solar flare hit the Ground. This was reported on January 19 at the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy at the Institute of Space Research (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

"It just hit the Ground. 15 minutes passed between the passage of the L1 Lagrange point and arrival at the planet (1.5 million km). This means a speed of about 1.7 thousand km/s," the Laboratory's Telegram channel says.

There is no additional data on the speed, as some measurements are out of order.
