The cartoon festival will be held at the skating rinks of Moscow on February 1.
On February 1, Moscow will host an animated film festival on ice at the Southern Skating Rink of the Luzhniki Olympic Complex, as well as at the rinks of the Avangard Stadium and the Bitsa Equestrian Complex. This was announced on Monday, January 19, by the press service of the sports department of the capital.
The program starts at 2:30 p.m. at Luzhniki Stadium, and the key event will be a master class by Olympic champion Alina Zagitova, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
Guests will also enjoy full-length cartoon characters, games, relay races and quizzes, and visitors are invited to come in costumes of their favorite characters, writes Moscow 24.
The festival will begin at 16:00 at the Avangard and Bitsy venues, where contests, thematic activities and DJ sets are planned, NSN notes. Participation is free, but pre-registration is required; priority is provided for the participants and their families.
