Moscow doctors removed a pig's ear from a woman's esophagus
On January 19, doctors at the Konchalovsky City Hospital in Moscow removed a fragment of a pig's ear from a patient's esophagus.
A woman went to the reception department of a Moscow clinic after a festive table complaining of problems with swallowing — she couldn't even drink water. In addition, she indicated persistent nausea.
"Doctors found a foreign body in the esophagus, a fragment of a pig's ear, and it was promptly removed at the hospital," a message on the Moscow Medicine Telegram channel said.
It is specified that the doctors made sure that everything was fine with the patient and discharged her.
A resident of Moscow had a heart attack on December 12 last year after eating a piece of pork. The cause was a rare allergy-related syndrome. the man "previously knew about his allergy to pork, it manifested itself in the form of urticaria and did not cause serious problems," but one day after eating, the Muscovite suddenly became ill.
