One civilian was killed as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Belgorod region. This was announced on January 19 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"In the village of Otradnoye, a civilian was seriously injured as a result of an enemy drone strike on a private household. <...> He died in the car before arriving at the hospital," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

It is specified that the self-defense soldiers promptly arrived at the site of the strike and took the man out by car, but on the way they were attacked by a Ukrainian FPV drone.

Gladkov clarified that the unconscious victim was transferred to an official car, which continued to drive to a medical facility, but the man still could not be saved.

The Governor of the Zaporizhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, reported on January 15 that an APU drone attacked a pharmacy employee's car delivering medicines in the Zaporizhia region, resulting in the death of two people — the driver and a freight forwarder. According to him, the car was delivering vital medicines to a pharmacy in Pology.
