Possible blackouts of more than 16 hours were reported in Ukraine.

Electricity in Ukraine can be turned off for more than 16 hours a day. This was announced on January 18 by Sergey Kovalenko, director of the Ukrainian energy company YASNO (part of the DTEK energy holding).

"Over the weekend, there were no fundamental changes. <...> The schedule of probable outages is not relevant. With restrictions of five queues out of six, outages can last more than 16 hours," he wrote on Facebook (owned by Meta Corporation, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
