On January 15, Tatyana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, reported that monthly precipitation had fallen in the capital and its region in the first two weeks of January. The expert clarified that 48.5 mm fell at the VDNKh weather station at a rate of 52 mm, and 60 mm at the Moscow State University weather station at a rate of 54 mm. Thus, the height of the snow cover in Moscow as of the morning of January 15 is 41 cm, with a norm of 18 cm.
