The State Duma announced changes in the rules of air travel in Russia from March 1.
Starting from March 1, Russian airlines will have to notify passengers in advance about the flight rules, conditions for making changes to the ticket, canceling the flight and refunding funds, including cases of illness or other unexpected circumstances. This was announced on January 18 by State Duma Deputy Alexander Yakubovsky.
"Amendments to the rules of air transportation will come into force on March 1. <...> For the first time, the rules detail the carrier's obligation to inform passengers in advance about the conditions of the flight, the procedure for changing the ticket, refusing transportation and refunding funds, including in case of illness or other forced circumstances," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
