The "Carpet" plan, which assumes temporary non-use of airspace, was introduced in the Penza region. This was announced on January 18 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
"The Carpet plan has been introduced in the Penza Region," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.
It is specified that at the moment there are restrictions on the use of airspace in the region.
The Carpet plan was announced at Vladikavkaz airport and the city of Mozdok in North Ossetia—Alania, as announced by the head of the republic, Sergey Menyailo, on January 10.
On January 1, Oleg Melnichenko, Governor of the Penza Region, announced that the Carpet plan had been introduced in the region. It was later cancelled. It was clarified that aircraft flights resumed to the regions.
