The accounts of Yulia Tymoshenko, the leader of the Ukrainian Batkivshchyna party, have been blocked until a court decision, and she cannot post bail for her arrest. She stated this on January 15 on her Facebook page (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation).

"What is sur? This is when you plan to pay the bail for an openly ordered political case, but you can't do it. Because your accounts have been blocked even before the court decision. This is the anti—corruption justice of international fraudsters," wrote Tymoshenko.

According to her, the Ukrainian authorities are "very mistaken" if they think that by such steps they will be able to force her to flee the country or stop fighting.

On January 14, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) released audio footage of Tymoshenko's negotiations on bribing deputies of the Verkhovna Rada, where she offers them money for a "correct" vote. The bureau also showed footage of the head of Batkivshchyna during searches of the party's office.

The party leader, who is charged with bribing deputies, wrote on Facebook on the same day that she had nothing to do with the audio recordings of her voice published by NABU. The politician added that she is ready to prove the alleged baselessness of the charges in court, as she "has done more than once."

On January 13, it became known about the searches in the office of the Batkivshchyna party of Tymoshenko. It was clarified that the preliminary penalty would be in accordance with Part 4 of Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ("Offering, promising or providing an unlawful benefit to an official"). The leader of the Batkivshchyna party may face up to 10 years in prison as part of an anti-corruption investigation.
