- Dmitriev published the results of a survey on the resignation of British Prime Minister Starmer
On January 15, Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and special representative of the President of Russia for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, published a post on Twitter with the results of the vote on the resignation of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Dmitriev yesterday launched a vote in Parliament on whether Starmer should leave the post of prime minister. According to preliminary results, 97% of the respondents confirmed their consent.
The final results were 96% who agreed with Starmer's resignation.
On January 10, American billionaire Elon Musk called the British government fascist due to the high number of arrests for posts on social networks. On his Facebook page, the businessman attached a publication by another user with statistics according to which more than 12.2 thousand people were arrested in the UK over an unnamed period.
On January 11, Musk made a repost of a photo of the British prime minister in a bikini generated by artificial intelligence (AI), saying that the British authorities want to ban freedom of speech. This is how the billionaire reacted to reports that the UK authorities are considering banning the social network X due to the scandal with the chatbot Mask Grok. Users have started using the neural network to create sexualized deepfakes of real people, including celebrities and children.
On January 12, Starmer warned that the country would establish control over the Grok chatbot integrated into the X social network if the American company did not take measures to regulate it. The Prime Minister added that the Government will not tolerate violations of security and human rights.
