During the New Year holidays, passengers forgot about 2.5 thousand things in the Moscow metro, including New Year's clothes for a cat, carnival costumes, an album with photos of football players, a set for fortune-telling on coffee grounds, toy gnomes and even a snowman. This was announced on Thursday, January 15, by the press service of the metropolitan Department of Transport.

If the item is lost, the passenger can leave a message in the Moscow Metro application. After the discovery arrives at the warehouse of forgotten items, specialists will inform you about it. Warehouses are open daily from 8:00 to 20:00 at Cherkizovskaya, Business Center and Kotelniki stations, the Moscow City News Agency reports.

Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Transport and Industry, noted that warehouses of forgotten items are one of the most in—demand metro services: in 2025, more than 69 thousand items were received there, the website writes kp.ru .
