Emergency warning due to snowfall announced in Crimea

In Crimea, the Ministry of Emergency Situations announced a new emergency warning due to bad weather. Heavy snow is expected in the republic.

Heavy precipitation is possible in the southern, eastern and mountainous regions. Ice is forming on the roads, wind is expected to increase to 15-20 m/s. This is reported by IA SevastopolMedia. By January 19, the wind speed will reach 25 m/s.

Snowfall increases the likelihood of falling trees and weakly reinforced structures. Residents of the region are advised to refrain from using personal transport and not to travel through mountain passes.
